About:  This Uttapam can be prepared instantly and in very less time, its a low calorie dish.

Ingredients:

For the batter-
                      
1 cup Sooji
                      
1 cup Urad dhooli dal
                       
1 tsp. salt
Ingredients for stuffing-
                                    
Finely chopped 2capsicums
                                                             
2 tomatoes
                                    
Grated Carot
Directions:

1. Take a non-stick pan, put thinly shape batter on it.

2. Switch on the flame. The pan cake should be slightly brown from the bottom.

3. Sprinkle and spread vegetables on top. Flame should be on slow heat.

4. When the vegetables are slightly tender, turn over the pancake in the pan.

5. When the pancake side is slightly brown. Turn of the flame. Put on the opposite side of the pancake on the plate.
                                      

It is ready to serve.

Dahi bhalla with sweet Imli chutney

About: Lentil balls dumped in a tangy and spiced curd, served with sweet Imli chutney. Savouries prepared using lentils and served with Yogurt and exotic chutney.

Ingredients:

5 cups strained  sweet dahi

For Bhalla:

1 small bowl moong dhooli dal

Directions:

1. Put dal in a vessel.

2. Put approx. 3 bowls water in the vessel till it dissolves well at night. Next day morning blend the dal thickly. Put some salt in it. Mix it properly.

3. Take a pan, put oil for deep fry, switch on the fire. Put some water on hand. Take small batter on hand , make balls of dal and deep fry it.

4. Take cold water in the vessel and put the wadas in the water.

For Imli Chutney:

250 gm imli

3 tsp. sugar

1 tsp. salt

1 tsp. pepper

1 tsp. roasted jeera powder

Water as per desire

Main Directions:

1. Dissolve imli in some water. For 3-4 hours , blend and strain it properly .Put the strained imli water in the pan.

2. Stir it till it becomes slightly thick. Put salt , pepper, sugar, jeera powder.

3. Take a serving tray, put bhaiias on it, put sweet dahi on it.

4. Put salt, pepper; jeera powder, imli chutney.

5. Garnish it with Mint and Coriander leaves.

Besan (Chickpea flour) Masala Dish

About: A Delicious vegetarian dish which smells and tastes in Besan (Chickpea flour). Those who like Besan (Chickpea flour), they will appreciate this dish.

 

Ingredients:

 

1 cup besan (Chickpea flour)

5 cup water

1 table spoon salt

1 table spoon red chilies powder

1 table spoon mango powder

 

Directions:

 

1. Take deep pan , Switch on flame, put besan (Chickpea flour) , water, salt, red chilies powder, and mango powder, stir, till it becomes thick, and besan smells like it is fully cooked. Switch off the fire.

2. Grease the round thali (as in picture), put besan on it  and freeze till it sets.

 

3. Then cut into pieces.

 

4. For the masala gravy-

 

Ingredients-

5-6 cloves garlic

1 piece of ginger

2 onions

3 tomatoes

2 crushed green chilies

Chopped coriander

1 tsp. haldi

salt and red chilies according to taste

2 lemon juice

1 tsp. garam masala.

 

Directions:

 

4.1. Switch on the gas, Take a pan put 3tbsp. oil, crush ginger and garlic, stir till it is  light brown, then put onion paste, stir it till it is light brown and put haldi , salt, red chilies powder, green chilies, stir it till it leaves oil.

 

4.2. Then blend tomatoes put puree, stir it and then put pieces of besan. Stir carefully as pieces should not break down.

 

4.3. Put lemon juice and garam masala. Garnish it with coriander leaves.

 

 

Now you may give dressing of Kasoori Methi to make it more presentable.

                                       

It is ready to serve.

It is an attractive and presentable dish that you will be impressed to taste it!

 

 

Ingredients-

 

                   2 Cauliflowers

                   500gm.green peas

                   Sprinkled fried potatoes for garnishing

 

Ingredients for Green Chutney

                   1bunch of Coriander leaves

                   2 table spoon grated coconut

                   2-3 green chilies

                   1table spoon sugar

                   1table spoon salt

 

Ingredients for red chutney        

                   1table spoon butter

                   1table spoon maida

                   1 cup water

                   1 cup tomato ketchup sauce

                   Pinch of salt and pepper

Directions

 

1. Boil cauliflower and peas when it becomes tender , strain it and put in a serving dish bowl .

 

2. For the green chutney-

 

2.1. Blend all the ingredients of the green chutney in the mixture and taste it , it should be

 

2.2. Sweet, Sour and Spicy. Pour the chutney on the cauliflower and peas and bake it for 180 C at minimum temperature till the chutney absorbs in the cauliflowers.

 

3. For the red chutney-

 

3.1. Take a pan, put butter and maida on the sim flame. Stir it till the color becomes light brown, then put water and sauce. Stir it till it becomes slightly thick. Put salt and pepper. Pour the red chutney on the cauliflowers, Put sprinkled fried potatoes as garnishing.

                        

It is now ready to serve.
