Besan (Chickpea flour) Masala Dish

Besan (Chickpea flour) Masala Dish

About: A Delicious vegetarian dish which smells and tastes in Besan (Chickpea flour). Those who like Besan (Chickpea flour), they will appreciate this dish.

 

Ingredients:

 

1 cup besan (Chickpea flour)

5 cup water

1 table spoon salt

1 table spoon red chilies powder

1 table spoon mango powder

 

Directions:

 

1. Take deep pan , Switch on flame, put besan (Chickpea flour) , water, salt, red chilies powder, and mango powder, stir, till it becomes thick, and besan smells like it is fully cooked. Switch off the fire.

2. Grease the round thali (as in picture), put besan on it  and freeze till it sets.

 

3. Then cut into pieces.

 

4. For the masala gravy-

 

Ingredients-

5-6 cloves garlic

1 piece of ginger

2 onions

3 tomatoes

2 crushed green chilies

Chopped coriander

1 tsp. haldi

salt and red chilies according to taste

2 lemon juice

1 tsp. garam masala.

 

Directions:

 

4.1. Switch on the gas, Take a pan put 3tbsp. oil, crush ginger and garlic, stir till it is  light brown, then put onion paste, stir it till it is light brown and put haldi , salt, red chilies powder, green chilies, stir it till it leaves oil.

 

4.2. Then blend tomatoes put puree, stir it and then put pieces of besan. Stir carefully as pieces should not break down.

 

4.3. Put lemon juice and garam masala. Garnish it with coriander leaves.

 

 

Now you may give dressing of Kasoori Methi to make it more presentable.

                                       

It is ready to serve.
